Trick or Treat

Halloween was a busy but fun filled day this year. We started the day off tailgating for the Cardinals game with my sister and her family (parents too). Jason grilled up some good grub, we did some Halloween crafts and played a little football. Then it was back home for treats. We were lucky to have both my family and his join us this year for trick or treat time. All of the cousins had so much fun! We went to the park by our house where we set up chairs and the little ones line up and trick or treat in a circle. It is a great idea! Soon they will be too old for that and we will have to go house to house, but we are enjoying it for now! Then is was home to have my homemade meatballs and spaghetti!

Caught red handed

Thought this was so cute and just shows how a dad of two girls finds a way to fit in in their world. I was looking for Sara the other day and came across this sweet moment that I had to ofcourse go and find the camera. Jason and Sara having a tea party. She was in heaven serving him his "Carmel Machiatto" and scones. When they heard me take the first picture they invited me in for some myself.

School Pictures

Madelyn does not like her picture this year, but I ofcourse think it is beautiful no matter what! She said they were giving her too many instructions on how to tilt her head. Funny how early they care about what they look like.
My baby is not a baby anymore! It's official. Here is her "Junior Kindergarten" picture. I am so proud of her. She came home this week with her first sight words book from school and is so excited to be "reading." Everyone keeps saying how fast things go and all I can do is try to enjoy every exhausting moment!

DisneyLand

We decided to take our first trip to Disneyland with the girls. It was beautiful weather and the lines were not that bad. It was Sara's fifth birthday while we were there and they had a blast. We picked them up from school on Wednesday and then open and closed the place on Thursday and Friday. Jason and I had not been since we were around 14 years old and boy have things changed( and stayed the same). We did all of the traditional rides we loved as children and found new things we got to experience for the first time with them. Truly memories for a lifetime. They were troopers and just wanted to go go go. Sara went on everything she could that she was tall enough for. Madelyn is our dare devil and went on all the roller coasters and scary rides with Jason and then I would go with her right after they got off. It worked out pretty good. I have prob. 180 pictures, so here are just some highlights :)
