Yesterday Sara and I picked up Great Grandma Loe (Jason's Grandma visiting from Ill.) and brought Madelyn's favorite (Chick fil A) to school to have lunch with her. Grandma was treated like royalty by all the teachers and friends. Funny thing, I learned that Madelyn is quite the hoola hoop expert. I did not even know she knew how to do it. It was cool to see her in her world when I am not around.
It was a great Valentine weekend. Jason and I had a nice night out on Friday night that we called "unvalentines" day. Saturday the girls and I made cupcakes, YUM. Then we had a great time at the Railroad park with Jason's Grandma and family. Just so thankful for the loves of our lives :)
Jason's grandma is in town for 6 weeks from Chicago and last Sunday we took the kids to see If you give a mouse a cookie at the Phoenix Childrens's little theater. It was so cute and the girls loved it. It was their first time going to a play. We have lots of things planned to do with Great Grandma Loe while she is here :)
Jason and I met at Paradise Valley High School softmore year. We were good friends and began dating the end of our Junior year. We have shared so many firsts together and have been there for each other through so many changes in our lives. We have been married for almost ten years and look forward to many more years of love, happiness, and fun! We have been blessed with two beautiful and amazing girls, Madelyn and Sara. They keep us laughing (and crying) and remind us everyday how lucky we are to be their Mom and Dad.
