Prescott

Great times up in Prescott this weekend for Madelyn's soccer tournament. The weather was great and the company even better. All the girls on the team are so sweet and they just played their little hearts out. It is sad that the season is over. When we started the season we did not even know if she would like it. I think we love it just as much as she does. We met some great families and hope to continue as long as she loves it! We had some time in the morning to go into town and walk around. They made candles, hula hooped and played with goats. Nothing like a small town! Here are some action shots of Madelyn kicking the ball. The one of the team sitting on the bench is funny because they were told to "visualize" what they were going to do in the game and this is what they looked like.

Vegas

This past weekend was our 11th wedding anniversary and we went to Vegas to celebrate. My parents came and stayed with the kids so we had no worries about them having a great time. We stayed with his roommate from college Mike and his wife Elizabeth for the first two nights and then at the Venetian for our Anniversary. We got the VIP treatment when we went out to the clubs and restaurants because they knew all the right people. No waits, no covers and even reserved areas to be while we were there. We did not take a lot of pictures because we were just too busy enjoying ourselves with no agenda. We did not gamble alot, but the one time I did sit down to use the $20 my dad sent for me to put in a slot for him I won $75. Then Jason said put one in for us and I won $150. That was fun. He played a little poker and we dabbled in some other games here and there. We are so thankful for this time to "reset" and just enjoy each other. You know it's good when you can be in Vegas and feel like the only two people there!

Easter Weekend

We started the weekend off with our annual Easter Picnic on my mom's side of the family. I have so many great memories growing up going to these picnics. It is so fun to see all the traditions carry on with my kids. We colored eggs that night and then had my whole family over for Easter brunch. It happened to be my parents 46th Anniversary on Easter so we did some special toasts to them. Then it was on to his family for more festivities!
