Today was a big day for all of us! Madelyn started 2nd grade and Sara started Pre-K. They are so excited to be at the same school now. I have to admit it was pretty teary in Sara's class. My buddy won't be home with me anymore. It is also just a reminder of how fast time is going. Just three years ago I was doing this with Madelyn. They are both going to have great years. Their teachers are really nice.
Last weekend when we went to the Cabin it was to see my dad in the play "Guys and Dolls." He has been practicing and rehearsing for months now and it was time to see him in action. They have a playhouse up there called "Pinewood Players." He has never done anything like this before and it was so good for him. My mom sewed some of the costumes, did make up and helped back stage. He sure had a cheering squad for him!
Jason took Madelyn into one of the training camps for the Cardinals and she loved it!
The weather was awesome! Cool with afternoon showers! Til next time!
Jason and I met at Paradise Valley High School softmore year. We were good friends and began dating the end of our Junior year. We have shared so many firsts together and have been there for each other through so many changes in our lives. We have been married for almost ten years and look forward to many more years of love, happiness, and fun! We have been blessed with two beautiful and amazing girls, Madelyn and Sara. They keep us laughing (and crying) and remind us everyday how lucky we are to be their Mom and Dad.
