It seems like every year it just gets better and better! We love all of the little traditions we have and now the girls are looking forward to and helping carry out alot of the traditions. This year we surprised them with a dog. It was so much fun. We did our usual Christmas morning stuff and then at the end told them there was one more gift, but they had to go on a scavenger hunt to find it. The first clue was in the tree and then it went on from
there four other locations ending in the garage where Joey the beagle was. We rescued him from a Beagle rescue. He is so loving and awesome with the girls.
I don't know how we will top this one for next year! Hope everyone had a great time with their loved ones this holiday season!
This is Madelyn's second year playing piano and she just loves it. I am so proud of her. I always wished I learned a musical instrument. Maybe she can teach me some day:) She played "Go tell it on the Mountain" and "Santa Claus is coming to town."
I was lucky enough to get canceled on Thanksgiving and surprised my family. We got all 9 grandkids in a picture with my parents. Then we celebrated a couple days later with Jason's family for round two!
Jason's birthday was December 6th and we had a big dinner with family at our house. The girls couldn't wait to give him their special home made gifts and cards. The next night I surprised him and took him to the Scottsdale Princess for dinner. They had an amazing 4 story Christmas tree that the lights went to Christmas music. Then we went out side to the lounge for drinks and sat by the fire pits. It was perfect!
Jason and I met at Paradise Valley High School softmore year. We were good friends and began dating the end of our Junior year. We have shared so many firsts together and have been there for each other through so many changes in our lives. We have been married for almost ten years and look forward to many more years of love, happiness, and fun! We have been blessed with two beautiful and amazing girls, Madelyn and Sara. They keep us laughing (and crying) and remind us everyday how lucky we are to be their Mom and Dad.
