Sara's surgery

Sara had her tonsils and adenoids out on Thursday and I have to say she is doing pretty good. She was so brave. She even helped push her cart into the OR. They do such a good job at PCH preparing the kids. They even let her see the mask she was going to get put to sleep with in pre op where she was playing. She put it on and played with it. It was bubblegum flavor. She came out of the anesthesia really well. It has been hard watching her in pain and listening to her nasally voice. She is so sad when her medicine is wearing off. Last night was a little scary because she had 103 fever and started throwing up. I ended up sleeping with her all night. She is a different kid today now that we convinced her to take her medicine and eat something. She is back to running around pretending to be a dog. Gotta love kids. They bounce back so easy. I thought we were on our way to the ER for fever and dehydration. I just kept telling her to trust mommy and I would make her feel better. She snuggled me and said "ok mommy I trust you, please make me better."
